Sifu David Dong is a disciple student of Grandmaster Doc-Fai Wong, who is President of the Choy Li Fut - Tai Chi Plum
Blossom International Federation. He is the chief instructor of the Golden Lion Martial Arts School. David has been in the
system for over twenty years and is a sixth generation practitioner of the Choy Li Fut and seventh generation practitioner of
Yang Tai Chi. He has successfully competed in many local and out of state tournaments, and has been featured in both Inside
Kung Fu and Masters magazines.  Having a long and continous history and tradition all students will continue to continue.

He has competed, on October 18 & 19, 2004, in the 1st World Wushu Competiton in Zhengzhou, China. There were over
2,600 competitors. Sifu Dong  was awarded a gold medal for the hands competition and a Silver medal for the Double

His  recent competition was November 4th & 5th, 2006 at the 1st World Cup Tai Chi Chuan Championships in
Taipei, Taiwan. A team of 70+ from the Plum Blossom Federation went to compete. Sifu Dong was awarded a 2nd place and
4th place Grand Champion for fixed step push hands.
